Æther Salon—Publishing

Last month I gave a talk at the Aether Salon in New Babbage, a virtual steampunk city in Second Life. There was a record crowd of avatars representing published writers, hopeful writers, and other interested folk. The transcript, along with the graphics from my slide show presentation (yes you can run a slide show in a virtual setting) has been posted.

A Mile High City. There’s Aether Up There, Right?

Excitement! In March, I'll be attending my first-ever con as a guest author. No, I'm not nervous, why do you ask? *casually snaps pencil in half without noticing*.

I'll be participating in eight panels alongside lots of wonderful authors, including some of my own personal favorites. I'll be trying very hard not to go all fangirl on them. I'll also be judging a costume contest and co-hosting the Grand Tea.

Hungry? A Review To Devour!

If you've ever read my own writing (and if not, here, have a cookie, my you are looking nice today, is that a new haircut?) knows that I'm a foodie. My characters indulge in lavish meals, and seem to always be hungry for the next one. So, it's very fitting that J.B. Garner has reviewed my book, The Flight To Brassbright, at his 'Starving Author' site, which carries a fun foodie-theme throughout.
